Metal reinforcement, when using structures in an aggressive environment, does not always satisfy operational standards due to metal corrosion, cannot provide the necessary antimagnetic and dielectric properties, and does not ensure the structures lightness. Composite reinforcement facilitates the solution of these issues replacing metal in structures.
Recently, composite reinforcing elements are used more often in constructional engineering. They are used when laying the foundations of low-storey houses, walls mounting. In multi-storey construction, a monolithic or strip foundation is built with the composite reinforcing materials, and the floor of the ground floor is also strengthened. Due to the interaction of fibers and polyester resins that are included to the composites, the effect of each component is enhanced, which allows creating light and strong structures.
The calculation of the reinforcement section takes place for each facility individually, depending on the number of storeys, the complexity of the project, and a number of other reasons.
