Fiberglass grid
High-strength fiberglass reinforcement mesh of composite polymer reinforcement – a new reinforcing element for construction work. It is a particularly strong rods with a diameter of 2 to 8 mm, intertwined in cells from 50 to 200 mm. The uniqueness of the Petroleum Group composite mesh lies in the technique of connecting the reinforcement bars. During the formation of the mesh, the transverse rods are woven into the longitudinal ones. Such a connection makes it possible to produce a grid with rods of large diameters (from 2 mm to 12 mm), making it more durable and avoiding stratification of the grid and destruction both during storage and transportation, as well as during its laying.
This was confirmed during tests at the European Institute SC Incertrans SA.
Designed for use in concrete structures instead of traditional steel.
