Basalt-plastic reinforcement
Basalt-plastic fittings are especially durable rods with a diameter of 2 to 40 mm with spiral relief of basalt fibers with a diameter of 10 to 16 microns, impregnated with a chemically resistant polymer binder. Such reinforcement is used as a reinforcing element. It is made on the basis of basalt fibers produced from basalt rocks of igneous origin, from which it leads its characteristic name. The natural origin of the material determines the high chemical resistance of fibers to alkalis, acids, and chemically active media. Resistant to weathering.
